Have an Outdoor Yoga Experience with The Om Revolution

Embrace your inner yogi outdoors

You can do yoga just about anywhere with minimal equipment. Doing yoga outdoors enhances your practice in an entirely different way than a studio does.

Nature connects you deeper to your roots – quite literally. Uneven, natural surfaces such as rock, grass, and beach sand can intensify your posture, helping to build stronger muscles. An hour of mindful breath and movement synchronisation outside is a great way to align mind and body health.

With warmer weather on the horizon, The Om Revolution is eager to get you and your mat outside for the summer. They offer a regular schedule of yoga classes in beautiful locations with qualified instructors, making yoga accessible and fun for all.

Anyone and everyone of all fitness levels, including yoga newbies, can join the weekly 60-minute outdoor yoga classes, which run from late October to round about April every year. In 2018 and 2019, classes are still R70pp or R50pp if bought as a block of four. As of January 2019, outdoor classes cost only R50. All the more reason to kickstart your health in the new year!

WEEKLY SCHEDULE
Look for The Om Revolution flag to find your instructor in the following locations:

• Tuesdays: 5:45pm in the Company’s Gardens (The second lawn after the SA National library on the lower end of the Government Avenue side of the Gardens).
• Wednesdays: 6pm at Century City’s Central Park Field on the oval (Park Lane)
• Fridays: 5:30pm in Mouille Point (new location). Classes take place off the promenade near the blue statue. 75 Beach Road.
• Saturdays: 9am in the Company’s Gardens
• Sundays: 6:15pm. Clifton 3rd Beach (down the stairs next to the big boulder)

Note: As of January 2019, the Friday evening Mouille Point class moves to Thursday evening at 5:30pm.

PRIVATE YOGA AND LIFESTYLE PRODUCTS
The Om Revolution can tailor classes to meet your individual or group requests if you prefer not to take yoga classes with strangers. Privacy enhances the journey and encourages the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga to fully come to light. You can do yoga for just about any event, from corporate team building and wellness days to hen parties, weddings and birthdays.

Choose any suitable location that you can imagine or choose from favourites such as Table Mountain, Chapman’s Peak, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens or Llandudno Beach (excluding entrance fees/transport). You’ll pay a total of R1100 for groups of up to 10 and R1600 for groups up to 20 (both including mat rental).

Yoga is an invaluable tool in the fight against workplace stress. You provide a space (conference rooms, rooftops, outdoor spaces) and a qualified teacher can come and show you and/or your team how to unwind.

The Om Revolution sells unique environmentally-friendly yoga mats made from recycled natural cork. The mats are naturally antibacterial and extremely grippy, even when wet. Beautifully designed with alignment and proper posture in mind, the lines help you place your hands and feet correctly and offer a guide for hip, arm, knee and chest alignment. These are priced at R960 and are available online.
