The Galileo Open Air Cinema is celebrating a decade of outdoor movies and is bringing that experience to the Cape Winelands. Every Saturday evening until 24 April 2022, cinema lovers will be able to enjoy a selection of movies at some of the most scenic wine estates in the area.

Galileo will be showing classics, like Pretty Woman, as well as newer movies such as The Secret Garden, at breathtaking wine farms, including Plaisir Wine Estate, in Franschhoek; Nooitgedacht Wine Estate, in Stellenbosch, and Laborie Estate, in Paarl. Doors open at 5pm, so come early to save a seat and explore the estates before the movie begins.

The outdoor movie plays in the evening, so why not spend the day exploring the winelands before heading over to the set venue. The Galileo Winelands venues also offer food markets – think pizza, wraps and shawarmas. (Remember to bring cash as some vendors don't have card machines.)
