Titan Obstacle Course Run isn’t about speed; it’s about survival. Sponsored by Teva, it’s a heart thumping adventure where runners haul tyres, scale walls and climb through obstacles across farmland and vineyard-lined terrain. And the Fun category – where you pick your obstacles and the stopwatch doesn’t matter – turns the battle into a choose-your-own adventure.

At its core, Titan is a trail run, but its route refuses to let you switch off.
The course cuts across open farmland with 360-degree views of vineyards and surrounding mountains. Dirt paths and uneven ground force you to watch your footing, and just as you find a rhythm, an obstacle interrupts it.
Heavy tyre pulls and flips tax your legs while towering tyre walls require a boost of upper-body strength. Rope climbs and monkey bar rigs test grip strength and reward determination – and that’s before mentioning weighted sand bag carries and low crawls under nets.
Even if you’re not racing, the event is designed so that spectators can experience the action. Visitors can move along much of the course and watch the action from different vantage points, including the start line, finish area and obstacles positioned along the route.

This is a chance to push your limits, connect with nature, and finish feeling exhilarated. Image: Titan Obstacle Course Run
While both the 5km and 10km routes move through the same farmland terrain, you decide how far (and how hard) you want to go.
The 5km Sprint packs obstacles into a compact, high-energy route. The 10km Savage follows a longer loop through the farmland and vineyards and adds two additional obstacles.
From there, you decide how competitive you want to be. Elite runners are timed and must complete every obstacle to stay in contention.

The course is carefully curated, taking you through different landscapes. Image: Titan Obstacle Course Run
Not everyone arrives at Titan chasing a podium. The Fun category removes the time pressure and is open to any age (kids under 13 will need to be joined by a paying adult), making this one of the more accessible entries into the obstacle racing world.
Participants can attempt as many obstacles as they like (or skip them entirely), making it ideal for first-timers, families, groups of friends, and corporate teams wanting something more memorable than a standard team-building day. It’s the same course, the same views and the same obstacles, but the focus shifts from competition to shared experience.

While completing all obstacles isn’t required, Titan encourages you to give it your best shot. Image: Titan Obstacle Course Run
The energy doesn’t evaporate once you cross the finish line.
After your final obstacle, you’re handed a custom Titan medal. There'll be a wash-off area to hose off any mud before joining the post-race celebration.
Beyond the finish chute, the vibe keeps going with food vendors serving smash burgers, chicken dishes, coffee and an on-site bar serving beer and soft drinks. There’ll also be a SALT bar, a mobile electrolytes station to help runners rehydrate.
The music keeps the energy high as competitors finish the course and spectators cheer them on.

You’ll arrive for the challenge and stay for the atmosphere. Image: Titan Obstacle Course Run
Titan Obstacle Course Run takes place on Saturday, 28 March 2026, with Elite runners starting from 7am and Fun runners from 7.30am onwards.
Entry fees are R20 for spectators, or range from R345 to R425 for competitive racers, depending on distance and category. Corporate groups of 10 or more can arrange team packages directly with the organisers.
You will receive a unique BIB Number, access to the course, on-site medics and marshalling, and a Custom Titan Medal upon completion.
Race it, jog it or cheer from the sidelines, Titan Obstacle Course Run promises a morning of fun, adrenaline and serious bragging rights.

The venue places you between Stellenbosch and Paarl, making it an easy escape from the city but far enough to feel like an adventure. Image: Titan Obstacle Course Run
