It’s not just about the cheeky craft beers and great vibes. Woodstock Brewery has a different food (and some days beer) deal every day of the week. It’s great comfort food staples that pair well with their beers, from half-price burgers to generous rib platters and weekend steak feasts. There’s often live music in the beerhall, and you can even book a food truck for your next party.

MONDAYS: HALF-PRICE BURGERS

When you order any burger on the menu, you pay half the menu price every Monday. There’s everything from a loaded burger to a banting burger and chicken zinger burger to a saucy beef burger. Plus, every burger comes with a side of your choice, like triple-cooked fries.

Available: Mondays, all day

TUESDAYS: ANY CURRY + FREE LAGER

Choose from these hearty curries: A slow-cooked, bone-in lamb curry, a tender butter chicken curry, and a mild coconut chickpea curry with lentils, cauliflower, coriander, cumin and masala sauce. All curries are served with sambal, basmati rice and roti.

Available: Tuesdays, all day

WEDNESDAYS: SCHNITZEL + FREE LAGER

Can’t face midweek cooking? May we recommend a panko-crumbed deep-fried chicken schnitzel with a sauce of your choice?nbsp;You’ll also get a 330ml Born Slippy lager, mahala.

Available: Wednesdays, all day

THURSDAYS: RIB & WING PLATTER + 2 FREE LAGERS

You’ll get 2 free lagers when you order a rib and wing platter: 500g of ribs, 200g wings (peri-peri or BBQ), and a double portion of triple-cooked fries. Thursday evenings also host live bands quite often, amping up the kickstart to the weekend. 

Available: Thursdays, all day

FRIDAYS: BREWERS PLATTER + 2 FREE PINTS OF LAGER

Upgrade after-work drinks with your mates. This platter comes with chicken strips, riblets, wings (barbeque or peri-peri), steak, and a double portion of cheesy jalapeño fries.

SATURDAY STEAKS ALL DAY

This one’s for the meat lovers. Choose from a 500g rump, 500g sirloin, 500g fillet and 950g tomahawk. Every steak includes a big side and a sauce of your choice (including the usual sauces as well as interesting ones like chakalaka, basil aioli and red wine and bone marrow jus).

SUNDAY: HAKE & CHIPS + FREE LAGER

If you order the crispy beer-battered hake (fried or grilled) served with triple-cooked rustic fries, tartar sauce and a side salad (for R150), you’ll also be served a 330ml Born Slippy lager, gratis. Grilled fish is also an option.

FOOD TRUCK HIRE FOR YOUR EVENT

Woodstock Brewery can also bring the party to you. They have three food trucks that you can hire for birthday parties, private events, sporting events, and festivals, serving burgers, wraps, and beers, of course.

CRAFT BEER TASTING

Woodstock Brewery has a wide variety of award-winning beers to choose from, with names inspired by the 60s and 70s Sex, Drugs & Rock ‘n Roll era. You can order from Checkers 60-60 or get it at most local liquor stores. Or go to the restaurant for a Woodstock Brewery beer tasting.
