Here’s how Cape Town is celebrating Women’s Day

From girls night out to flower crown making with gran

Last updated: Monday, 4 August 2025

There are so many ways to celebrate the women in our lives this year, from the girls to the grans. You can make your own flower crown, there’s a pink karaoke soirée, sip wines by women, for women, browse a wellness expo, a queer ballroom bash, and more.

COCKTAIL HAPPY HOUR

Fable has fantastic cocktail and food specials if you feel like a night out. Like their famous skull cocktail: Jameson, cranberry, tea, white chocolate and berries (for 33% less). And if the cocktails start hitting, you’ll want something from the food menu too. You could try the fable smashburger or their hot honey chicken sliders.

Date: Every Saturday, 4pm to 7pm
Cost: Various prices
