R400 OFF A SHARK CAGE DIVING TOUR 

Visitors mostly come for great whites, but you’ll also see a variety of other shark species, like bronze whaler and 7-gill cow sharks. WSDC currently has a special rate on their shark cage diving tour.

Using the booking code “CTMAG” gets R400 off the shark cage diving tour and viewing trip. You pay R1 800 only (it’s usually R2 200).

SWIM WITH A SHIVER OF COPPER SHARKS 

Gansbaai is known as the great white capital of the world, and there are also many other shark species there. Swim with schooling bronze whalers (also known as copper sharks) – they grow up to 3.5 metres long and it’s not unusual to have up to 30 around the cage. 

And while you’re out looking for sharks, you’ll also come across a lot of other aquatic life, like whales and dolphins (sometimes in big pods). Here’s everything you need to know about South Africa’s great white sharks.
