Cape Town has a growing love (and need) for coffee, so it only makes sense that we’d have an entire festival dedicated to it. After successful coffee festivals in London, Amsterdam and New York, Cape Town will host its first coffee festival on 1–2 June 2019, at the Castle Of Good Hope.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The festival celebrates Africa’s expanding coffee scene and creative lifestyle. You can expect the likes of unlimited, exceptional coffee, interactive workshops and demonstrations from world-class baristas and over 60 vendors including Deluxe Coffee Works, Truth Coffee, Smoke Coffee and Potion Coffee. There’ll also be great food, cocktails, live music as well as art exhibitions.
COFFEE FUN
The Cape Town Coffee Festival will also host some experiential features such as Latte Art Live, where the best baristas in the country show off their coffee art skills and teach you some nifty tricks too.

There will also be a section called The Lab, where interactive demonstrations, workshops, talks and tastings. There will be two labs at Cape Town Coffee Festival: One dedicated to the latest industry trends and the other dedicated to small coffee businesses.
There will also be a Coffee Cocktail Bar and a live music stage giving opportunities to top young Cape Town musicians.
WANT TO PERFORM AT THE CAPE TOWN COFFEE FESTIVAL?
The festival is taking applications for live performers, giving new and up and coming bands a chance to get exposure on the live music stage. All the performers need to do is submit a Youtube video of themselves, after filling in the application form.
