The small town of Tulbagh will bring the Christmas spirit to the Western Cape’s cold winter weather once again this year. The family-friendly celebration will run from Saturday, 22 June to Sunday, 23 June 2019.
Experience a cosy ‘white Christmas’ as the town dresses in winter Christmas decorations and hosts festive activities all in line with the theme.
There’ll be wine tastings and cellar tours, vibey live music, food trucks and stalls (waffles and pastries, just to name a few) and vineyard tractor tours for an immersive winter wine, music and food weekend.
Tractor rides and awesome kids entertainment will happen over both days, and the traditional Christmas lunch feast is once a again a highlight this year. The lunch sells out well in advance, so be sure to get your booking in as soon as possible.
Alternatively you can pack a picnic blanket, buy a few bottles of your favourite Saronsberg wines and grab some of the tasty food and hearty dishes on offer for a cosy picnic on the lawns.
TICKETS FOR THE 2019 TULBAGH CHRISTMAS IN WINTER FESTIVAL
Tickets cost R100pp including a wine-tasting glass. Teen tickets (aged 12-17) cost R60pp. Children under the age of 12 get in for free. All tickets are valid for both days and can be booked here.
The traditional Christmas lunch feast takes place at 1pm on the Sunday. Tickets cost R200/p and seating is limited to just 100 people.
Bookings are essential. Contact events@saronsberg.com or +27 (0)23 230 0707 to book your spot.
