Fill your Sunday afternoon up with the smell of seasonal flowers at Veld and Sea’s virtual flower workshop this Sunday, 7 June at 3pm.
IT’S NOT ALL DANDELIONS AND ROSES
Follow along as workshop leader Roushanna Gray takes you through a floral crown tutorial using a host of seasonal and local flowers. You can also find out how to preserve, prepare and incorporate seasonal flowers into your food or drink.
Next, the class will move onto a cooking demo, where you will learn how to make your own floral flatbread from scratch with three recipe ideas using hibiscus flowers.
Finally, top the afternoon off with a show-stopping gluten-free olive oil carrot cake. Plus, learn how to make delicate edible flower décor tips at home.
THERE ARE ALSO COCKTAILS AND A PLAYLIST
Before the workshop, you will receive a list of ingredients and equipment you will need to take part. You'll also get a flower power Spotify playlist to get you in the mood, along with recipes for Veld and Sea’s signature wild herbal rooibos chai tea and a calming chamomile cocktail.
