Get Your Yoga Fix with A Few Friendly Goats
Be a part of Cape Town’s most unique yoga session
Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate, in Paarl, is renowned for their sensational products, their stunning grounds and their goats. They’ve recently decided to do something a little different. Inspired by the American yoga sensation that is taking the world by storm, Fairview is hosting a Goat Yoga session from 9am to 10am every Saturday and Sunday in October.
The class works thus; patrons will join a yoga class run by a professional instructor, with the small and adorable addition of goats. You’ll be taken through various yoga sequences while baby goats meander between patrons. The class is suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced participants and instructors themselves.
Have a look at what you can expect from this yoga session with a very unexpected twist:
The goat yoga classes will be run by Raine Dunn of Body Poetry. She is passionate about health, having practised yoga for 13 years and pilates for six years. Yoga provided Raine with an avenue to holistic living and she’s keen to teach that to others. The combination of the relaxation provided by being outdoors, doing yoga and hanging out with animals is what excited Raine about this growing trend. You will leave the goat paddock with less stress and a sore face from all of the smiling.
The series of Goat Yoga sessions at Fairview Wine and Cheese estate in Paarl are going to be booked up fast, so we cannot stress how important it is to book your spot. Get your dose of relaxation this October at a stunning wineland venue.
