Rus Nerwich has just released his highly anticipated sixth album, Under the Poetree, and is giving you a chance to hear compositions from it every Tuesday at Kove restaurant in Camps Bay.
Under the Poetree is a sophisticated fusion of soul, funk and jazz-infused grooves. It features some of the most acclaimed musicians and vocalists in the country and is a musical breath of fresh air.
Rus Nerwich and The Collective Imagination Band includes Shane Cooper (bass), Bokani Dyer (keyboards), Dave Leadbetter (guitar), Souljaz Pros (rapper), Lee Thompson (trumpet), Ross Macdonald (trombone), Lindiwe Suttle (vocalist), Khanyi (rapper) and Jono Sweetman (drums).
