Looking for a new date night idea? Need a little mid-week romance? Movies in the Vines has got you covered; they’re screening Baywatch at Eaglevlei Wine Farm on Wednesday, 8 November 2017. Snuggle up to your special someone and enjoy a movie under the stars.
For R200 (per couple) you and your significant other are treated to one large pizza (topped with chorizo, onion, red pepper, feta and bacon), two popcorns and a bottle of Lekkerbek sparkling wine while you enjoy the romantic comedy Movies in the Vines screens for you.
Baywatch (2017) is a revival of the 1980s hit sitcom which catapulted Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff into the stratosphere of fame. The movie, which came out earlier this year, sees Zac Efron (in all of his tanned, muscular glory) play an Olympic gold medal winning swimmer become part of the Baywatch team. The new addition is much to the mirth of alpha male Mitch Buchannon, who, in this remake, is played by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. Along with their lifeguard posse, they attempt to take down a drug ring and hilarity ensues from there.
The venue for this romantic night under the stars is located only 40 minutes from the centre of Cape Town. Some of you might be thinking - how can I go out on a weeknight? Imagine surprising your significant other with this unique twist on a classic date night idea. Whisking them to a beautiful estate for a romantic evening in the Cape Winelands will earn you major brownie points.
