Are you looking for a reason to be out in nature, enjoying the sun and the sweet scent of flowers? Add a little bit of perspiration to the occasion and you get the Great White Mountain Bike and Trail Run, taking over Lomond Wine Estate on Saturday, 15 April 2017!
This challenging, family-friendly event invites you to discover and traverse picturesque routes between fynbos covered valleys just outside of Gansbaai (where the Great White Sharks are) over Easter weekend.
There is a route for everyone who wants to be part of the fun challenge. Mountain bikers can opt for either the 55-km, 35-km or 15-km routes while runners have the 30-km, 12-km and 5-km trail runs to choose from. Do not underestimate the longer distances though, these are very technical and challenging routes. The short distances are more suitable for families and less experienced riders and runners.
Whether you are serious about your athletic career or just out to have fun, you are welcome to participate.
