WOOF Project, a mobile adoption initiative, is popping up at Nobel Square at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront between Saturday, 8 July and Sunday, 23 July 2017. This noble initiative aims to inspire the adoption of happy, healthy, perfectly good shelter dogs.
The mobile pop-up initiative is comprised of a recycled green shipping container that travels around the Mother City, switching between various locations in an effort to connect the shelter dogs with their furr-ever homes. The dogs up for adoption come from existing shelters from all over the Western Cape.

The adoption process is simple and effective. All you have to do is rock up, meet the dogs, choose your furr-ever companion, fill out a short adoption application on site then within 48 hours a home check will be conducted to ensure that you are indeed intending to love and look after the dog the way it deserves to be. Once you’re approved you can name your price for the adoption fee and you and your new furry best friend can enjoy many, many glorious years of love and happiness.
WOOF Project is an Oscar’s Arc initiative. Oscar’s Arc is a non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring people to adopt shelter dogs and saving the lives of all those furry friends in need. This world-class organisation prides itself in being an unrivalled dog adoption experience and every member on the public in the market for adopting a dog is invited to come on down and find the four-legged fur buddy.
