Arno Carstens presents Die Aandblom 13

Make your way to The Barnyard Theatre on Thursday, 15 June 2017 expect a night of pure and unpretentious, entertaining fun with one of South Africa’s musical icons Arno Carstens, as he presents “Die Aandblom 13”. It will be a bilingual performance showcasing the best of Arno’s hits.

This platinum award-winning musical master has released 12 albums 6 as a solo artist, 5 with “Springbok Nude Girls” and 1 with “Bhelltower”. With over 20 top ten hits and being a five-time SAMA award winner, one being for Best Rock Album in 2004, this performance is bound to be nothing short of absolutely incredible. His talents don’t only stop there, he is also an extremely talented fine artist specialising in oil painting on canvas (you can find his artwork on one of his very own album covers “Lightning Prevails”. Arno’s set will include songs from his new acclaimed album “Die Aandblom 13”, where the first track “Ontwaak” won Song of the Year at Bok Radio Annual Music Awards.

Most of us know about the well-known Barnyard Theatre as one of The Mother City’s favourite spots to go and have a bite to eat, great drinks and enjoy local and international talents.Its doors opened up for the first in 1996 by the Moller family on a dairy farm just outside Plettenberg Bay, then Louis and Sybel decided to take it to new heights and it’s the magnificent establishment we see today . So on Thursday, 15 June 2017, go for an evening filled with nothing but great company and an awesome performance provided by Arno Carstens.
