Valentine’s Day is upon us already and if you’re tired of the classic fancy Cape Town dinner, then the Plus 1 Festival is for you! Celebrate the day of love with your beloved in Franschhoek at La Paris Estate from Friday, 17 to Sunday, 19 February 2017.

This fantasy themed happily ever after festival has everything you need for a sensational weekend out of Cape Town. There will be music, dancing, carnival elements, food, art and fun. Have a little peek below and see exactly what the Plus 1 Festival has in store.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE 2017 PLUS 1 FESTIVAL AT LA PARIS ESTATE IN FRANSCHHOEK

Something New Main Stage will feature international and local acts, all producing amazingly pumping beats that’ll get your feet moving and your heart racing. Lovebirds, from Germany, are attending the festival along with two other International acts. Prepare yourself for a weekend of sensational music and love filling the fresh Franschhoek air.

Something Old Stage will feature local acts that we know and love. These proud Mzansi residents will rock our socks off with anthems that echo all over the country!  The DJs will be spinning music from motown, reggae, disco, pop, rock and reinvented classics, plus they’ll be doing it by a picturesque dam. Lekker music and a lekker view, what more do you need?

Something Borrowed Lifestyle Market is where the non-music related party is at! There will be gourmet food stalls, designer drinks, artisanal products, activities and games. There will also be a stage where you’ll be able to go and get a few laughs from some very talented comedians.

Something Blue Pool is where you’ll go to cool down and show off your bikini body. When swimsuits are so expensive, it’s not reasonable to hide them away. Franschhoek is hot people, so make sure you pack your swimwear or else you’ll be at the mercy of the cruel Cape Town heat.
